A question about a horse

Cathy asks about her horse.  She says they have brought home a new horse, named Seirian and he  just turned 8 yrs old in early June. They noticed he was "stiff" in his hind leg and that he carries his tail to the side. She says, “I am concerned that we may be putting him to task when we shouldn’t.
Is there anything we can do to help recognize something that Seirian needs identified as a problem for him?”

This beautiful horse loves to work, loves to feel good about himself.  He is a beast of wonder and strength.  Do not be afraid to have him exercise and jump and trot and do all the things that make him feel good.  There is most definitely a charley horse, a constriction of nerve and muscle in this leg.  Massage and pressure points, acupressure, will really help this lovely beast.  And your gentle talking and smooth gentle rubbing of the muscles will help.  And make sure this beautiful being gets enough magnesium.  Magnesium is important for the strength of muscles in this horse.

Thank you.  I’m sure Cathy will be very happy to get this information.  It’s so wonderful to be able to get some information about the animals in our lives.

They are wonderful--each with their own processes.  each just as amazing as…well all the animals in the physical world.
