Soul evolution and joy in living
Cheryl asked if we come to this life as new souls and continue to return until we become mature souls. She wonders if we can come in a different order or skip ahead, or go to another plane for an experience.
The evolution of your vibrational being is constant. It doesn’t matter if you want to call it new or old. It heightens with every learning experience. There is no written law on how it must be. Truly yes, you can move to other dimensions if you wish to, but you cannot go from a new soul to what you would call an ancient soul in one lifetime. The evolution is your own process. And very often the most ancient feel the opposite. For they feel that all is wise and wonderful. And the truly evolved being has evolved to the state of great vibrational height. They understand the truth of all that is new and wonderful. It is often the very new soul that is oblivious to all of this. It might seem upside down or inside out. The evolution of your vibrational soul, your spirit, is truly your own. You choose, but the heightening of it is through growth. To each dimension you choose. Truly to cause the least chaos in your vibrational state it is best to stay with one dimension at a time. Some beings choose to stay within the dimension even when it is time to leave. They love it so dearly, or perhaps are so attached to some part of it. Fear not. The clarity—you will know when you are in between which dimension you wish to come to.
She also asks if we are intended to live joyful lives while learning (with the understanding that there is joy in every experience if we just look for it).
Yes. Joy in the wonderment of learning, is truth. But there must be pain as well, for it creates the greatest growth. And there is truly joy in the opportunity of growth. Your spirit understands this, and as you evolve it is more conscious of it. Very new souls may feel that they have not the ability to find joy in pain…but it is there.
I guess if we had lives of just complete bliss there would probably be no opportunities for learning.
You can have a life of complete bliss and have great sadness within it. Is it a choice or is it a vibrational state? This is huge, you understand. Bliss is a vibrational state—of knowing that even at the most wretched moment you are one with all that can be. Are one with the pain and one with the joy; one with the growth that never stops. What might seem to be the end of something is truly the pearl. When you understand about the continuum you will understand your whole process, your path.
Thank you

To stay with a stressful job or to move on
Cheryl says she's finding her job increasingly stressful. There have been changes to the management, and those changes have left her feeling unsupported, and there are increased expectations of her, with new rules over which she has no control. She is wondering if she should leave the job or if the intensity of the challenge she is facing are lessons for her to learn.
A long time ago this blessed one decided she didn't want to stay there any longer. I must say she has a very strong will to make herself stay, for she has long since passed the time since she has felt she was one with everyone there. Time and time again she has seen them come and go and not be too understanding for what is needed.
Her deep passion and love for humanity has been often put on the shelf. She needs to address this now, and to follow that which she needs to do. It has had a price staying in this place. Yes there were certain comforts it afforded her, but now it is beginning to weigh heavy on her being she needs to address this because the cost has become too dear for her being.
She wonders if the agency where she works is a separate entity that has its own lessons and challenges, and if she is merely a bystander.
This can happen when a group of beings gather together, but she knows very well right now that this seems to be not happening with this that she is in. She feels helpless for a reason. It is true that beings, when they gather together with a sole purpose of one thing or another, that many things can be accomplished. The momentum that is gathered with the positive energy of all beings with the one belief, with the one desire, can move mountains. No mountains are being moved where she is now, and this makes her very sad.
I am not answering this with specifics. It is something she has already thought of. She wants to be told with clarity that the next step is a sure thing but, would she be growing if I told her exactly what she needed to do? She is a blessed being, very wise, and has outgrown this place, and she knows it very well. Tell her to trust in her wisdom and to choose to grow.

What does it take to live a good life?
Kristine asks what it takes to live a good life.
To live a good life is to walk a good path, to see all that is on it. To understand that they be for what they be. They offer, you choose, you grow. At every opportunity of making a choice, to stop and think ask within yourself “What part of me feels good about this choice, or that choice?” In every opportunity there is a choice and it offers growth. And every being in this physical world, whether they be brand new or ancient, knows within a choice whether it is a good choice, or a less than good choice. They are all good.
Yes, I’ve often heard that there are no wrong choices, but maybe sometimes the path that they lead to is a longer one (laughs).
Yes.
So to lead a good life we just need to listen to that inner knowing?
Yes—and to trust that you are magnificent--that you are not an accident, that you have purpose. It doesn’t have to be in any one understanding. Ah, to grace, to be grace, to be one. There are sayings of every kind to explain how to be it, to witness it, to see it, to embrace it, with joy. To understand that there is purpose for sad things. You can learn in them, but then you must choose to move forward. And that takes the greatest courage.
There is purpose in everything. Yes, there are accidents in some elements of chaos when great energies or forces have collided together. Accidents can happen and then beings have to make choices rather quickly. But always there are choices, for therein lies the growth. And your purpose here is to grow, to move forward.
Mhmn. In this messy world.
This beautiful world. In all its mess it is beautiful. For even in the moments of the greatest chaos you can see the beauty. The human being is an amazing thing. When it is filled with rage, it is vibrant, its energy shakes. It is beautiful when its tears run down its face. It is beautiful when it laughs from the very base of its soul. To live a good life is to see it, to be it--not afraid, not boisterous--but just be it.
I’m thinking of stories I hear about people who do terrible things to other people and when I hear about those it makes me afraid. Afraid for the world I guess.
Oh my dear, do not close your heart with fear. Open it. Fear has a purpose; it helps protect your being. But your being is safe for you are of love. You needn’t run; you needn’t escape. Your conscious mind struggles with old hormone elements. But in truth, you must trust that all beings will do what the need to do to grow. Some must murder, and it is with hope and love and trust that they must grow through that. Some must be murdered. They offer growth and they take growth. I’m not judging as to whether it’s good or bad. I don’t know if this is something you can write for many to hear, but you understand what I want you to know: fear not. Oh yes, if something frightens you of course you must run with fear and the adrenaline will pour through your body. But in just hearing how you world lives, open your heart for that heart is very strong. Embrace those that have closed their hearts and do not grow. Embrace them with the greatest love and light that you can. For theirs is the greatest struggle. A closed heart is not something you want ever to have. I use the word heart as the physical centre but in truth it is a closed spirit. And there are many. But they are very new souls usually--and they have just decided that it is only their way and they will not even listen or think of any other thing.

Supporting someone in ill health
Mike asked about a relative whose partner is in serious ill health and has difficulty accepting support. He wants to know about the dynamics of that.
This woman is not ready for the place of understanding and so Mike's understanding must be one of just simply saying “I am here when you need me or if in any way I can help you.” This being does not want to hear the information. As far as the relative in between, extend his support and love for him. That he is also there for him. As spoken before, you cannot do the growing for another being. You cannot do what they need to do for themselves. Healing must come from within. Mike can extend his love and his desire to help but he must not drain his being by worrying that he cannot get through. It isn’t that he has used the wrong words. It isn’t that he isn’t right, or in the right place, or good enough. It is that the being is not ready. And when and if is entirely up to her.

Abuse of drugs, judgement, and states of "no growth"
Now I have a question about drugs. There are many people in this city and cities all over the world that take drugs like heroin and those kinds of drugs that make them forget their life, I guess. And it’s so damaging to our societies because they have to live a life of crime and they’re dragged down and the cities are dragged down. Is there a way of dealing with these problems? Is it the same thing? It’s growth, isn’t it?
Yes, my dear. These beings that abuse drugs are using them for the purpose of stopping growth. It is stopping everything. And that’s what these beings are trying to achieve—a state of “no growth.” They are afraid, they are so filled with pain that they cannot move forward. Some chose them out of just sheer experiment but found then that they could not move forward. It is a very difficult state in which to be in, and very often they choose to leave the physical world, because they cannot grow.
A state of “no growth” is the most dangerous state a physical being can be in. Whether it is put there by drugs or by choice, it is a dangerous state to be in. Society now shuns this and does not want to see them. Again, you talk of money; very often when there is a great need for money there is a great need for emotional tenderness or caring to happen in a society or a tribe. When the tribe or the group loses its centre and its deep love and caring for its humanity, it starts doing all sorts of obscure and strange things—eating its young, killing its young ones, doing all sorts of strange things. Aberrations occur.
In the unhealthy cell this happens as well. You’ll see this magnified many times in your physical world. Time and time again. Circles within circles. Think of your city as a circle, it has an illness. It has a cancer. It cannot cure it by moving it or shoving it out to the limits—that will just cause a difficulty in another place. Ah, so, it means—how does a society love? Go to the centre of its being. Oh what is the centre of a society’s beings—it’s mother, its child, its family. And then it works outside of it, its businesses, its organizations. Is the head (the mother) treating all the people in its business well? Is the head of the school treating all its children well? Is it being manifested through? Do you see what I mean? All of these things, they are one. So, a city must say to itself. Bring them to me. We will heal them, we will feed them, we will house them. How could any being be happy if its not living in a place of warmth. Not having anyone ever look them in the eye and say to them “you are important.”
As you have to say to all the cells in your body, that each one of them is important. That you love them. A head of a country must stay to its people, a head of a business must say to its people. The others, the animals, they do not have the same structure. They do not have the same disorder. You will not see all the members of a herd of cattle killing one because they are discordant. In fact they will often stand close watching them. They do not judge. They want to help them.
Yes, it’s this judgment, this feeling of separation.
Fear—it is centered in a need and fear is manifested.
There are too many people on this planet though.
And who says this?
Well, it seems to me that it’s very chaotic, but maybe it isn’t to do with numbers.
No, there are enough beings for there to be great growth, and this is what it is for.
Yeah, right. It’s always growth.
Yes, and growth can be very happy and pleasant too. It doesn’t always mean difficulty. It means embracing this marvelous opportunity, no matter what it is; to share a heart, a touch, to look into another eye. You know this.
So that’s what we’re here for?
Yes, to learn. And in a second growth and healing can happen. In a look deep into another that “Oh it’s alright. I’m here, you’re not alone.” None of you are alone.
